Our client, a small but well established company leader in its industry, is looking 2 Java developers to join its development team.
Responsibilities:
• Development and maintenance of software applications
• Participate in development, analysis, design, and QA processes
• Work on improving the overall development environment and tools
Prérequis/Requirements
• 3+ years of experience in Java programming
• Solid understanding of Java/J2EE technology including JMS, Servlet API. JSF2 a plus.
• Experience with enterprise application development, testing, and versioning
• Understanding of database driven applications
• Team player able to work also independently
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English
• Experience deploying and programming highly available clustered environments
• Knowledge of Hibernate or similar ORMS (asset)
• Knowledge of indexing and searching technologies such as Lucene (asset)
• Knowledge of JAX-WS/SOAP (asset)
• Knowledge of large scale data warehousing, storage and retrieval techniques (asset)
