DESCRIPTION DU POSTE:
• Evaluate, install, configure, and maintain Windows hardware and software (e.g. services, security, performance, reliability, inter-operability with other computing hardware, software and process components, DRP, etc.)
• Provide operational support to all functional user groups and end-users requesting changes or updates
• Setup and implement maintenance and support procedures to ensure system health and prevent against system outages.
• Develop and implement support scripts to automate repetitive tasks and monitor system resources
• Design, implement and maintain a hardware disaster recovery procedure, including server backups
• Keep management aware of changes (e.g. capacity/performance, requirements, compatibility, etc.)
• Direct service calls to ensure corrective actions are received
• Identify and solicit information from suppliers and ensure services delivered meet contractual expectations
• Will take direction from and coordinate projects, schedules and budgets with The Manager of Network and Operations
• Coordinate design and changes with system architect and Manager of Network and Operations
• Maintain required documentation
• Support and assist with the training of the user community during technology rollouts
PROFIL RECHERCHÉ:
• 5+ years related technical experience in an IT environment
• Strong working knowledge with network, security, and Windows servers & desktops
• Have an understanding of overall business processes
• Ability to effectively distinguish validity of requirements through the knowledge of the business and the technology
• Experienced with networks and systems risk management strategies
• Bilingual French/English
